I do not have this problem with recent Wine versions, either. But I have
updated CNC3 several times since that. Has anyone tested the demo with recent
Wine versions?

This bug is not present in Wine 0.9.49, where GLSL is the default. If I
disable this in the registry the old problems ruturn. But from what I
understand all cards that can support a high shader setting in CNC3 are also
capable of GLSL, so I'll mark this fixed.

I've just testing playing CSS for 30 minutes or so, and didn't get any crashes
(without the font hack, and without win98 mode).
This does suggest that this is no longer a problem... Has anyone else seen
this bug go away?
The only problem is that this didn't show up all the time anyway, so it's hard
to tell.

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 is still broken in wine-0.9.49.
And yes, it is SecuROM, as shown when attempting to run "wine RCT3plus.exe". A
popup appears with only the following message, and a button that shuts down the
program (and wine, obviously):
"A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be
executed."
No-CD cracks are obviously not a solution, nor do they work for RCT3 Gold.
Those all just result in segfaults, so the better solution is to get SecuROM
working.
I can attach any needed output, but several megs of text are produced when I
ran "WINEDEBUG=+all wine RCT3plus.exe", so I'm not sure which bits of that
you'd need.

Renato,
I am in the same position as you - and don't know how to solve it either.
I'm guessing that we're going to have to work out what is missing in Wine for
ActiveSync, and then we may be able to build the list of missing (broken) API
calls which need to be added to get things to work.
I've added the log that ActiveSync generates, as it may help to work out a
little of what needs to be done. I did notice that the
RegisterDeviceNotification calls are just FIXMEs, but I'm guessing the
signficant problem is the failure to listen on the IPv4 socket.
If anybody else has some tips of how to proceed here, they'd be much
appreciated.
Richard
