Wine tries to substitute a missing font by an existing one. Sometimes that
doesn't work very well.
> Where can i get microsoft core TTF font pack?
http://corefonts.sourceforge.net (Google lists it in the first lines for the
query with above sentence)

I understand that wine needs something like Arial. But that still doesn't solve
the problem that wine switches randomly (sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't)
when a new TTF is installed. . .
Where can i get microsoft core TTF font pack? I copied the some TTF fonts from
my old winXP installation to /home/user/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts. It solved a
part of the problem, as wine is ledgable again, but wine still switches
"randomly" when a new TTF is installed.

Fine, if you insist ok.. Anyway, i did a regression test for this a long time
ago, and it was caused by "moving region update handling to the server", so
maybe that might shed some light on it. see bug #5948

@Damjan, unfortunately the patch didn't work. Same behaviour. As a sidenote: the
newest Zuma from PopCap games doesn't have this problem as it seems to work
differently. I have an old version lying around here, and the difference is it
has Flash.ocx installed. I'll change the download url, to another game that
shows this bug (yetisports). You have to install Flash.ocx, and register it
first , to see the bug.

No, please read msdn before making assumptions. BitBlt returns non-zero on
success. Besides, the call has already returned before the exception happens.

>Why did you change the component?
Because the trouble start here:
000b:Ret gdi32.BitBlt() retval=00000001 ret=004161ca
000b:trace:seh:raise_exception code=c0000005 flags=0 addr=0x41115b
then it tries to load anet2.dll.
