Run ./configure --verbose and fix all the warnings at the end of it. You are
missing opengl development headers/libraries. winecfg still works and gave you
an appropriate warning.

And the problem with this is?
Please don't file bugs if you just see some messages in the terminal.

Yeah the time stamp Wine uses is exactly what it receives from the system.
However I don't see any problem with that. Unless you have a real life app that
brakes because of this, there is nothing needs to be done here.

This successful run was with native dcom ('winetricks dcom98') by accident,
not sure if that made any difference.
I'll try to generate a minimal test case on a cleaner wine tree sometime
soon.

Summary: Visual C++ 6 doesn't build apps properly using builtin
msvcrt
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-msvcrt
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
http://suomi.homelinux.net/wordpress/?p=27 says
that Visual Studio 6 works fine if you have
native msvcrt. So I fired up Visual Studio 6
on a large C++ project here at work (after doing
winetricks vcrun6, which is required to get mfc dlls)
and sure enough, with the builtin msvcrt, I got lots of errors
of the form
err:msvcrt:symbol_demangle Unknown operator: _R
on wine's console, and lots of lines of the form
... : fatal error C1033: cannot open program database 'z:\data\dkegel\foo\vc60.pdb'
plus one internal compiler error on the msdev console.
Setting msvcrt to native solved these problems, and
the huge project is now happily building away...
