Confirming. I did "Check for updates" from the menu, and got the same error.
Using native wininet gets around this bug for me.

Err, sorry, I just made the traces and it looks like the good one is 70M and the
broken one is 300MB... Even if this bugzilla installation allows attachments
that large, I don't think my connection would like it :/

Summary: Busdriver : instant crash
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: PC
URL: http://busdrivergame.com/download.php
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: download
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-misc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: xerox_xerox2000(a)yahoo.co.uk
I tried this demo and it gave a rather strange crash. From the log:
0009:Starting process L"C:\\Program Files\\Bus Driver\\busdriver.exe"
(entryproc=0xb130d1)
0009:Call KERNEL32.GetCommandLineA() ret=00b14762
0009:Ret KERNEL32.GetCommandLineA() retval=001239e8 ret=00b14762
0009:trace:seh:raise_exception code=c0000005 flags=0 addr=0x7b829522
then crashes with Unhandled Page fault.
I tried to pass some extra commandline arguments as wel, but didn't make any
difference, and there's no mention that the app needs commandline arguments.
Maybe another case of copy protection?
