Sorry, the component "wine-urlmon" may be wrong - please correct where
appropriate. Not sure which category htmlhelp falls under.

I get missing/wrong textures in the menu and similar stuff when the video mem is
overflowing. So I save the game, and kill CnC, since it would crash in a matter
of seconds anyway.
Skirmish can be saved.
Well, tough luck. Obviously you're running out of video mem. I don't know about
PCIe, but AGP is able to swap video memory into main memory.

Increasing the amount of vid mem Wine reports doesn't save you from crashing.
But you can tell when your memory is overflowing by the funky stuff on the
screen, giving you time to save your current game.
This is an issue with AGP aperture not working correctly in Wine/your distro. I
have the same problem. It sucks.

Summary: WinRAR's multithreading mode doesn't work correctly on
SMP system
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: Other
URL: http://rarlabs.com/download.htm
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: wine-kernel
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: t.artem(a)mailcity.com
I've recently upgraded to a dual core AMD Athlon 64 CPU and now I'm able to test
multithreading mode in WinRAR.
The raw data follows:
WinRAR single threading mode: Wine 614Kb/sec | WinXP 626Kb/sec
WinRAR multi threading mode: Wine 605Kb/sec | WinXP 1020Kb/sec
I have kernel vanilla 2.6.21 linux kernel with SMP support - 7-zip archiver
works correctly, i.e. when I enable multithreading 7-zip's performance almost
doubles.
One anomaly is visible when I enable multithreading mode in WinRAR/Wine: system
CPU usage becomes excessive and wineserver process eats too much CPU cycles.
