Filtering at the program level imho is inacceptable, and everything else would need kernel level support. Judging from the linux-net mailing list replies, the kernel devs don't seem to feel like helping out there. Personally, I don't feel like creating a kernel patch and boxing it through lkml. I'm afraid this one is a WONTFIX until someone implements a SO_BROADCAST_RECV for us in the kernel that allows us to tell a socked bound to a specific ip address to receive broadcasts coming in on the device that owns the IP address our socket is bound to. If this sounds like gibberish to you, I can't blame you. However, I am not going to spend any more time on this bug, I have enough other things to fix. "/LIBPATH:C:\Documents and Settings\picca\Bureau\cppunit-1.10.2\lib" ... but msvcrt trace shows (Look at the escaped quotes, they moved): trace:msvcrt:msvcrt_init_args got "link .... /LIBPATH:C:\\Documents\" and \"Settings\\picca\\Bureau\\cppunit-1.10.2\\lib ... This looks wrong. I tried a quick test, and I cannot reproduce this in current git, I always correctly get: trace:msvcrt:msvcrt_init_args got "test .... \"/LIBPATH:C:\\Documents and Settings\\picca\\Bureau\\cppunit-1.10.2\\lib\" ... However, it seems most other people do not get this problem, so it might just be my machine.
