[Bug 8503] New: all ole32_test.exe tests fail.

Product: Wine Version: CVS Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: test AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: trevor_boon(a)yahoo.com Forgive me if this bug is waste of time, however I was trying to diagnose why an app I've installed won't run properly, and figured that I'll try the wine test applications. I've attempted to run ole32_test.exe with all of the tests in turn, however they all fail. I don't know if I've simply executed them incorrectly, or if a component is missing, but as my app was giving up a truckload of 'err:ole:CoGetClassObject no class object' errors, it was a logical step. [Bug 8363] EVE Online crashes while connecting/switching to ingame gfx mode

Starting ExeFile.exe directly leads to the app not finding MSVC 8 lib (tried copying the dll into the path, and a couple other quick fixes without success). Using winedbg to attach to the pid of exefile.exe (before the login) immediately crashes the application. Starting eve.exe via winedbg works (run, continue), but does not produce additional output when the crash occurs. I believe the problem here is that I'm just too dumb to properly use winedbg (which is odd given my experience with windebug and gdb). I sincerely hope that another eve player has more success than I, and that we can get you the information that you require to resolve the issue. I'm not gonna open that bug again, as it has been closed already a few times. It seems it's a bug in Installshield. The program starts, displays window with graphics and loads as usual. Before it switches window to the setup for new game it crashes. First bug I have posted. It crashes in "graphics", assumed this is directx. Note: You need an up to date version of wine where Bug 8431 is fixed, at least todays version.
