yip, the application seems to be installed correctly, great! Starting the
application offers one a totally messed up toolbar. I'll open another bug for that.

Additional point: this is an improvement from 0.9.39 and earlier, where smoke &
fire is invisible at all zoom levels. I've just rechecked that. Good work!
The visible improvement happened sometime this week.

Summary: Buffer Overrun Detection in Star Wars: Battlefront w/
6.06 Ubuntu and wine 9.39
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.39.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: wnpersonwantiwn(a)hotmail.com
I patched SWB to 1.2 succesfully and then applied the no-cd crack. After
executing Battlefront.exe, the loading screen took longer than expected (about
45 seconds) and resulted in a generic windows layout error message saying that a
buffer overrun was detected (and subsequently forcing me to quit). I am posting
the console messages next. I specified d3d as the component as it is mentioned
in the console errors in the last 2 lines.
