Invalid in this case means: bad bug reporting.

I can confirm this is still unfixed in 0.9.39. Change the version to .39, change
target milestone to 0.9.0, and rewrite description to be more generic.

The same keyboard bug happens with "Star Wars Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy" when
it is in fullscreen mode. I am using Ubuntu Feisty and wine 0.9.39. No matter we
allow directx grab mouse or not, it always happens.
One workaround to have the keyboard focus again is to change the video
resolution with the game options. When it restarts with the new resolution, the
keyboard is ok.
While I was describing this comment, I tested again with "Allow the window
manager to control the windows" checked. It worked perfectly this time. I
remember this had the problem of gnome panels to be over the game window, even
in fullscreen, but now it's ok.

Sorry I put Windows XP in summary wrongly, because it was the OS that I were
using while filling the fields hehehe...
Ok, I have Wine set to Win2k, by curiosity I did try every OS conf in Wine with
the program, and results that _every_ OS from NT 4.0 to Windows Vista works the
same -- the program crashes at the same point.
I was doing some trace on the program, now I think it's related to KillTimer
rather than SetTimer API.
I'm tired of swithching Windows/Linux just to re-compile the program in Visual
Basic 6.0 for the moment, but I will try to locate the exact line that produces
the error, as it seems that Wine's logs does not help in this case :(

Might be, but the program I'm having problems with is the Heroes of Might and
Magic 3. And it still does not work with the current GIT (2007-06-29).

Vitaliy just pointed out something I should have noticed before. It's DNS
resolution that doesn't work. Connecting by IP works, using an URL/DNS name
doesn't. That also explains why some apps work (as they use IP) and others don't
(as they use the DNS name).
