This bug is possibly invalid. Running the setup.exe gives the same result as
discussed here. But running the autostart.exe and click on "Install", everything
works fine.
Maybe someone could check if on windows the same behavior appear?

Component: wine-quartz
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

and
http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/?a=commit;h=09b4966957b6a9b4f0582eb69…
that causes messages like:
fixme:quartz:PullPin_Seek (0x14c5250)->(000000000, 7fffffffffffffff)

Hm.. interesting, because it doesn't crash in wine if wine provides more than
one pixelformat to the WoW. And I still think it's an off-by-one bug in WoW:
according to the +wgl trace WoW first queries num-pixel-formats and then
iterates over all PFs to check their attributes, but it will never check the
very last one, so if num-pixel-formats is one, it won't check any PF and crash
later (probably because of uninitialized memory or such). The question is, why
does it also crash on WinXP? I doubt that WinXP provides only one PF to WoW.
Anyway, did you report it to Blizzard? (.. and did you get any feedback?)

I just got hit by this. I registered Prey against my account, that all went
through find and I closed STEAM.
I opened STEAM up again a bit later and now Prey has dissapeared off the list
again as if it was never registered.
This is with current GIT.

I only tried with dinput.dll.
With dinput8.dll, the game crashes on startup with:
wine: Call from 0x6ce301ee to unimplemented function
USER32.dll.GetRawInputDeviceList, aborting

Game will not install under wine though. That's why I had to install under the windows partition.

partition!

I just tried both. With dinput8.dll as native, I get the freezes again, but they
appear to be shorter (not sure). The dinput trace is gone.
