People, if you see this error in a log:
err:msi:ITERATE_Actions Execution halted, action L"ShowErrorPCCSNotInstalled"
returned 1603
that means a custom action of the installer failed, and that definitely doesn't
mean the bug is in msi, so please stop assuming that all installer bugs are in msi.

Find the demo that has the same problem or do the proper regression testing
yourself.

All compiler problems are blockers. Can you find the looping part in the output
/ configure.log and attach it?

No change with wine 0.9.41 the stuttering issue is still present.
What could be the problem here? As i said before with 0.9.35 the game runs
fine. :/

Summary: Configure loops endlessly on AMD 64
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.41.
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Keywords: regression
Severity: critical
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: scott(a)open-vote.org
For about 7 versions now I've been building the Ubuntu package on AMD 64 by
linking to 32 bit libraries.
With the configure changes to the new 0.9.41 version, however, I am unable to
compile on AMD 64 - configure will just run over and over again, endlessly. I'm
not certain it's not a packaging issue (which would be my mistake), but I
haven't changed anything in the package since the last version other than
updating to 0.9.41 and adding libpng12-dev as a build dependency.
There were some configure changes to 0.9.41, so I suspect they may be the culprit.
