I am running Wine 0.9.41 and am seeing the same "dark, wavey textures" problem
when I am close to a water source. Turning away from the water source, or moving
into another area solves the problem.
Is this something that is due to be fixed, or is there another solution to it?

Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: test
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: athaba(a)inode.at
I installed GoonZu and ran all offline patches (till 232). Then I started GoonZu
(GonZuRun.exe). It asked me about adding the mozill component for HTML. I added
it. Nothing happens for a few seconds. Then it crashes:

------- Additional Comments From volker.groeschel(a)sap.com 2007-30-07 09:29 -------
I added the keyword "regression" since I found four reports from 2002 (e.g. Wine
20020904) to 2005 where exactly the same scenario worked ouz of the box.
Which tool should create the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\Scsi\]
branch of the registry?
I would have a look into the code once I know where to start.
Maybe the regression is not caused by wine but by a change in Linux, e.g. where
the SCSI device information is stored in the virtual file system?

Summary: SpaceTime requires missing proc RegOverridePredefKey
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.42.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: P2
Component: wine-advapi32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: peterbelm(a)gmail.com
RegOverridePredefKey is not implemented in ADVAPI32, which stops SpaceTime from
installing.
This seems simple to implement, however I don't know enough about the Wine
internals to implement it myself. The MSDN page for it is:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms724901.aspx
It basically maps a registry key to a temporary key for that process (useful for
monitoring the registry actions of a 3rd party DLL).

Bug 6205 is fixed, not this one. So, it is not a duplicate.
And the console output did not change. Same backtrace.
So, I confirm this bug.

No, the idea is to break it from time to time and see if people notice. When
nobody notices anymore then we can pull 16-bit support for good ;-)
