Sorry for the wait. My output to the console is attached-mostly dsound errors.
Is there anything specific I could do to produce more directly useful output?

The buttons in question.
A screenshot always helps.
I was able to get the buttons to appear by docking them the the panel in the
upper right hand corner. Once you load the default workspace, however, the
buttons disappear again.

Installed v 0.9.40 via Synaptic package manager. Wineserver no longer crashes
with FoxPro and written applications now run albeit slowly. Consider the bug fixed.

this is what we exactly do. i work on a windows nt machine, i log on to a Linux
machine using X-Win32, and run wine in that X terminal, i am not directly
working on a Linux machine. could this also be causing the problem ? do i need
to run the setup of my app ? what i used to do was, compile n make the exe on my
windows machine, copy it to the home directory of the Linux machine and then run
that exe using wine in the X-Win 32 Console on my machine.

Actually a regression between wine-0.9.28 and wine-0.9.30. If only i had that
computer from that guy on #winehackers who was able to compile complete wine in
2 minutes, i could find the regression very quickly......
