Maybe a different patch helped with it. Anyhow if the reportes says the
original bug is gone then I think we can mark it as fixed.

I tried this:
socksify wineserver
wine firefox.exe
firefox comes up
i go to "whatismyip.com" and it doesn't report the socks proxy but mine, so it
doesnt work >.<

I found out that the last error only appears when hardware accel is set to
Emulation in winecfg. I set it to full and now sound works and the game does
not crash or fail anymore (with the native dm.. dlls).
DirectMusic still does not work out-of-the-box.
I tested that in 0.9.43, by the way.

After an arbitrary amount of use, the application will crash with a page fault.
For this submission, I ran 4 simultaneous instances and each crashed with
similar output, see attached.
On previous versions of debian and ubuntu, this application has run flawlessly.

That sounds like a bug I've seen in Mesa & War3 (and also reportibly WoW).
fglrx may have had the same problem. We had a bug report in Mesa for a long
time and I know DRI has been fixed in the last 6 months. I suspect this was a
driver problem.
