So far as I know this does enable compiz. If I do so then I can watch the Intro! Only in 1 of 4 cases I got a black screen after the video. If I click during the video with the left mouse button then Warcraft III displays an additional window showing an ACCESS_VIOLATION. I can even watch with compiz the first Frozen Throne Night Elf video, but only for one or two seconds. The screen stays then black and the sound which has just begon runs in a 0.4 second loop. If I set the "Visual Effects" to "None" then the Video will be skipped. This doesn't work always. My last 4 tests: 3 x Test with a 1600x1200 Warcraft 3 Screen resolution: no crash 1 x Test with a 800x600 Warcraft 3 Screen resolution: a black screen which doesn't vanish. When I send SW_MINIMIZE, everything works fine, but from winex11.drv it doesn't. When a minimize event is received we do: data->lock_changes++; ShowWindow( hwnd, SW_MINIMIZE ); data->lock_changes--; The lock prevents SW_HIDE (which is done in response to the SW_MINIMIZE) to work. Removing the lock works, but is not the right solution.
