Next run the Karafun installation with the default settings. At the nd it'll ask if you want to launch Karafun - Keep the checkbox checked. Karafun will start succesfully. Close Karafun and try to run it again. Requires d3dx9_33.dll and must be run with /NoPatch switch The initial loading splash screen no longer appears while the game is loading, but the game does load OK with no impact on playability. Additionally, when alt-tabbing back to the desktop there is now another "Tabula Rasa" window which doesn't seem to render anything and is probably an artifact of the missing loading screen. App streams in a RTF stream in 1.0 emulation mode, but does not prefix it with {\rtf1 header, so builtin inserts it as plain text.
