My current card (8600GT) supports enough constants to run the game flawlessly.
I gave my old 7600GT away, so I can't retest, but I would guess that nothing
has changed in the code but you better ask a dev here.
Also this tend to become a more general bug. As many new games seem to depend
on 256 available constants. see bug #10206

This also affects the IE7 and VC2008 web-based installs from Microsoft.

Yes. I reproduced it with current GIT.

I'm not familiar with the wine test suite. Will look at it if I have time
later.

Under version 0.9.59, demo starts, but then fails to render due to an error
(regression):
$ wine ./fr030-candytron-final-101.exe
fixme:win:EnumDisplayDevicesW ((null),0,0x32fa10,0x00000000), stub!
I don't know if it is actually related to the current bug.
Using Wine 0.9.59 with freshly generated .wine directory

The bug is still there.
If you open a menu in Office 97 or Office 2000 and move the window, the menu
detaches. The only progress so far is that it does not stay on top of other
applications.
