Can you attach a tooltips log in here so I can see how it uses the custom tooltips please. FYI Chances are you are missing some required package for building - ./configure --verbose will list the packages you are missing at the end (You can choose the optional ones you want depending on whether you need the features). Apparently the registry value is created for the administrator user somewhere during Windows installation (presumably because it checks for updates or tries to register or something like that). If you create a new user under Windows you'll find that the value does not exist, so FL Studio would give the same error under Windows. But! *TADA* Tooltips are there! However, I was not able to figure out how good do they work, because crappy fonts were spoiling everything and it was pretty hard do read anything. Just removing the test doesn't help us. Does the test work on Windows with these specific fonts? Then there is some bug in Wine and/or freetype otherwise the test or the font has a bug.
