[Bug 8783] USB serial ports do not work

Now I'm learning some serial kernel stuff things that might be useful for this. (I hope). As far as I see, there are many people who happily work with this driver, and some others that are having problems (like me). There must be some reason for it. Just one little thing: I have not been able to adjust serial port settings for this adapter. I don't know if it's normal, but I'm used to do it on standard ports. Then I created a game against bots...in the match, a tank fired at me (you know the screen is bleary etc.) And...while the screen was blearing, I had a "normal" screen! When attempting to play X-Wing Alliance, which seems to suffer from this bug, if I lose the focus on the Wine Desktop, and then re-focus on the Wine Desktop, the game seems to respond to at least a single key press.
