Summary: Supreme Commander: Bloom renderer makes screen flicker
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.58.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: liquitsnake(a)gmx.net
When the Bloom Renderer gets activated either in the main menu or ingame, the
screen stops updating and starts to flicker badly.
According to bug 10453, the renderer should've at least worked sometime around
0.9.48 to 0.9.52, so it must've broken between 52 and 58. Give me some time to
pinpoint the version it breaks with and do a regression test.

Summary: Update the README before the 1.0 release
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0-rc1
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: thestig(a)google.com
This is a reminder to update the README before the 1.0 release.
Issues:
1. Is tools/wineinstall deprecated? If so, we should stop mentioning it in the
quickstart sections.
2. Does Wine run with Linux 2.0.36? Should it say 2.4.x or 2.6.x?
3. We should check to see the *BSD/Solaris info is up to date.
4. Add a few useful links like:
http://wiki.winehq.org/Recommended_Packageshttp://wiki.winehq.org/WineOn64bithttp://wiki.winehq.org/GccVersions
5. Remove the line telling users to run: wine /usr/windows/sol.exe

wined3d: Add a GDI version of RealizePalette.
The base version won't suffice anymore as it is not able to upload
palette changes to the drawable in an efficient way for both GDI and
GL. Further the LoadLocation code in RealizePalette isn't needed for
the GDI version as in all cases it works on system memory.
