Diablo II gives the following in a pop-up box: No useful pixelformat found! Please check your graphiccard-driver No useful console output. World of Warcraft gives a generic looking memory access violation, but produces some interesting console output which is attached. Note the line that complains of no iPixelFormat. As for the tooltips, just close the app and it goes away. It comes back when you paste more than one link or just after you've finished a download, tough. LDAP checks during configure do not work on Solaris. Although ldap.h and lber.h are detected, configure tests seem to be written in non-portable way for Solaris. See the attached configure log snippet for more details.
