I don't think "sudo make install" creates /etc/sysctl.d/wine.conf,
but maybe it should.

If this is the default configuration for packaged versions of Wine & new/fresh
installations (including compiled from source), then this bug may no longer be
valid. Could someone confirm these cases?
I'm aware of the other bugs
"fixme:int:DOSVM_Int10Handler Get Font Information - Not Supported" and
"fixme:int:DOSVM_Int10Handler Select Active Display Page (0) - Not Supported"
but they belong in their own bug reports. I doubt this will be fixed any time
soon due to the nature of the latter bug.

First bug from comment #6 was fixed recently, with current git it works well.
Second bug from that comment, however, is still present.

If you're running into this bug with a packaged version of wine,
it probably means whoever packaged wine forgot to include
/etc/sysctl.d/wine.conf

I just wanted to add a link to this associated bug
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12516 - [Bug 12516]
err:dosmem:setup_dos_mem error report on every run of Wine.
The bug referenced no longer occurs on every run of Wine, but still occurs when
calling 16 bit dlls or apps. This bug is, in a way, a subset of bug 12516. This
one still exists (please don't close it). I'm just trying to tie together
related information.

Here is the problem: the only difference in these two controls is in one style:
UDS_AUTOBUDDY. If it is not set, wine won't display the arrows, while native
version would. Try setting this style and you'll see that arrows will appear.
I am not into UpDown control code, maybe somebody familiar with it would fix
this.

No, and I don't believe there was ever a bug here in the first place. This only
happens when using a no-cd patch, and I can replicate the same behavior when I
patch my own exe. When I run using the CD, it works perfectly fine.
