The application hangs.
err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 972 bytes in thread 002d eip

Summary: Patrician 2 - Graphical problems
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: s.zwarts(a)mailinator.com
I have installed Patrician 2 from Ascaron succesfully. It runs fine under wine,
but if I start playing it, it takes about 5 till 10 minutes for the screen to
get graphical distortions.
When I start it looks like:
(screenshot top)
http://www.ics.mq.edu.au/~szwarts/Gallery/Wine_Patrician2_Good.png
Which looks all fine to me, but after a while the screen starts to look like
this:
(screenshot bottom)
http://www.ics.mq.edu.au/~szwarts/Gallery/Wine_Patrician2_Error.png
Don't know if it is related, but when starting the game starts wine displays:
fixme:d3d_surface:IWineD3DBaseSurfaceImpl_Blt Can't handle WINEDDBLT_ASYNC flag
right now.
But the game still runs fine after that for the first 5, 10 minutes.

Summary: Dynacadd Video andCrash issues
Product: WineHQ Apps Database
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other

AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: mmcnally(a)mcnally.ca
I am running Dynacadd 98 2D, a CAD program on Ubunto Hardy Heron. Dynacadd
loads OK and operates with these pecularities:
1.On some occasions Dynacadd opens and leaves "shadows" where task windows were
displayed. Closing and restarting Dynacadd will often resolve the problem.
2. On some occasions the cursor fails to display a selection window that would
normally show the CAD operator which area or entities of a drawing he had
selected. The program though appears to know what was selected.
3. After Dynacadd has been opened and closed several (say ten or 20,) times
attempting to open the transformation menu causes Dynacadd to crash.
Reinstalling Dynacadd from the CD resolves this problem.

Summary: winebrowser does not handle commands with arguments

Version: 0.9.59.
Platform: PC

Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: yuriy.kozlov(a)gmail.com
winebrowser doesn't work with browsers/commands that
are more than one word. For example, the command to run konqueror
with the webbrowsing profile on kubuntu is:
kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing [url]
Setting that to be the first attempted webbrowser in the registry:
[HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-4\Software\Wine\WineBrowser]
"Browsers"="kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing,firefox,mozilla,opera,dillo"
and running:
winebrowser http://www.winehq.org
yields this:
Considering: kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing
argv[1]: http://www.winehq.org
Considering: firefox
argv[1]: http://www.winehq.org
I sent in a patch for this a while ago, this is the latest revision:
http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2007-January/034937.html
The patch had some problems and I haven't gotten back to working on it. Now it
probably needs to be updated for the latest changes to winebrowser.
As part of the solution, the patch changes the registry key that stores the
browsers to try to a REG_MULTI_SZ value. Since this changes the wineprefix,
this should be fixed before 1.0.

I am running 0.9.59 on Fedora 7. My install is slightly unusual because it is
running with a non-root prefix. The look fine in every application except
iexpore. The only relevant registry change from defaults is to increase DPI to
160.
Because of another bug involving fonts, this installation was created using the
patch in #12507. It is possible that these issues are related.
