IMO forcing only one instance severely limits the use of IrfanView. It's
sacrificing functionality for looks.
I posted the workaround because it might lead to an understanding of what
causes the crash in gdi32.

Removing my CC, I am no longer testing wine updates for LFS improvements.

Doesn't help.
I did 'wineserver -k' on this fail-to-register message and ran manually
regsvr32 for ieflash.dll. After that I'm able to test it.

Summary: Winscp: CTRL+A doesn't work in path dialog
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.21
Platform: PC
URL: http://winscp.net/download/winscp421.exe
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: download, source
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown

In the 'copy' dialog under Winscp (run Winscp, connect ot a server, press 'F5'
to copy it, then you'll get the dialog), it lets you specify a path. Under
Windows, you can press 'CTRL+A' to select the whole path and delete/replace it.
But under Wine, has no effect.

Summary: horrible performance in Guitar Pro 5
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.8
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: fallenblood(a)gmail.com
It was already awful with 1.1.7 on Ubuntu 8.04 (saving being a major
annoyance), but on a clean install of Ubuntu 8.10 with Wine 1.1.8 GP5 is barely
usable. I haven't tried MIDI output yet, but even a single track pops
considerably with the Realistic Sound Engine, with the interface lagging
considerably and even freezing when loading the demo track. Also, keyboard
shortcuts don't work, and letters and numbers (as opposed to the notes in other
versions) don't display.
