Posted a comment to AppDB. IMO forcing only one instance severely limits the use of IrfanView. It's sacrificing functionality for looks. Under Windows, you can press 'CTRL+A' to select the whole path and delete/replace it. I haven't tried MIDI output yet, but even a single track pops considerably with the Realistic Sound Engine, with the interface lagging considerably and even freezing when loading the demo track.
