I have Fedora 10 x86_64 with wine 1.1.9. When I install an app, main menu
entries are created in "Misc" instead of "Wine\Programs" and on the desktop
only .lnk files are created, not .desktop ones. My locale is ru_RU.UTF-8

Wine 1.1.17 console output
Red Alert 3 Demo plays audio fine, but both the videos and the menus are all
black, no images are drawn except the custom cursor.
"winetricks directx9" makes no difference.
The game won't load with GLSL disabled.
My graphics card (Radeon 9200) is a bit underpowered, but the videos should
still play correctly, as they do in other games (although native DirectX9 is
sometimes needed).
Tried with 1.1.9 too but the problem is the same.

Summary: S103 can not find Toolbook 5
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.20
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor

Created an attachment (id=20779)
--> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=20779)
Screenshot of error
S103 Discovering Science is an Open University course application. It installs
Toolbook 5.0 in its own directory during installation.
Toolbook is launched from within the S103 application but immediately fails
with message:
"Failed initializing the book file manager. Make sure the file TB50NET.EXE is
available in your PATH. If failure continues, close other applications or
increase conventional memory."
This works fine under Windows XP.
Workaround is adding "C:\S103\TB50RUN;" to the PATH environment variable. Not
sure how to do this with .reg file, which would make the workaround easier.
Only output in the console is this:
fixme:hook:SetWindowsHookEx16 System-global hooks (7) broken in Win16
Installing Toolbook 5 separately does not help either (still a PATH problem).

Summary: World of warcraft Battle.net username conversion bug

Command line output.
There seems to be a issue when attempting to connect to a world of warcraft
account after doing the battle.net username conversion. There is a new
battle.net deal going on allowing you to link all your blizzard games to a
single account, which is a email address, after doing this each time I attempt
to connect to that particular world of warcraft account the game crashes and
displays a MS Visual runtime error. When attempting to connect to a regular
warcraft account, it is not a issue. As far as I know this is a issue with all
versions of Wine, I have attempted to try it on 1.1.25 and the Stable release
1.0.1. Thanks.

Summary: Taking too long to type Test Data results in
information being lost
Product: WineHQ Apps Database
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC-x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: appdb-unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: daniel.santos(a)pobox.com
I typed up a very lengthy Test Data report for Lord of the Rings Online only to
hit preview and be redirected to the login page, I presume due to a session
timeout. I logged in and it sent me back to the Add Test Data form with all of
my information gone!!!
Because arriving at this form used a POST and not GET (I presume that to be the
reason) attempting to return via my browser's history was also unsuccessful as
I was prompted that it would have to resubmit the form to display the page and
I agreed.
I set the initial severity to major, although I'm sure you guys have your own
measures for bug severity. The reason I did this is because it resulted in the
loss of about 30 minutes or more of work in detailing my test and results.
Many people who run into this error will not bother to submit a bug report, and
in fact, will probably just get frustrated and give up -- this is very bad.
Perhaps the number of times this has occurred can be ascertained by examining
the server logs and look for a URL pattern that indicates a submission of Test
Data where a session had expired.
I understand if you want to keep the session timeout low. But at a minimum,
the submitted data MUST NOT BE LOST, no matter what!

"Next", there is an error message with code 30200 (from SPSS) saying that disk
ID is missing.
Nothing seems to happen in the Log (included below).
Using Wine 0.9.46 in Ubuntu 7.04 and the French version of SPSS 15.

With dxlevel set to 90, some textures in CSS do not appear to render correctly.
This is highly visible in the video stress test demo.
See the video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHkbIWuWOFU
Note the textures on the left hand side of the screen - particularly when the
camera is moving out of the water and up the boards.
This smear effect is not present when the game is forced into older (8.1 and
7.0) DirectX modes.
