Just noticed, my bad.
I can't really get the program to start. A popup shows for less than a second
and the program crashes afterwards. These lines appear.
xavier@environnement ~/.wine/drive_c/test $ wine WinAmb.exe

winetricks ole2 does not change anything.
Peto, can you reproduce the original problem you reported, and if yes, can you
tell me how?

Worms World Party fix for wine 1.2
Worms World Party fix for wine 1.2
(K)Ubuntu 10.04 has updated its wine version to 1.2 today ...
This patch fixes the black screen problem for Worms World Party under wine 1.2.
It also forces the DirectDrawRenderer to use GDI, thus no registry setting
needed.
It's just a collection of fixes published by other guys from the Worms
Armageddon tread. So, thanks go to these guys.
I rebased these patches to wine 1.2 to perfectly fit for (K)Ubuntu 10.04
(Lucid).

Is this still an issue in current git (1.3.5)? Many bugs depend on this one,
would be good for progress if this is fixed.

The patch cannot be applied cleanly on Wine-1.3.5. 1.3.1 was the last version I
could apply the patch on.
Bug #18600 is another duplicate of this one.
