When dmix is enabled, alsa corrupts the sound output (even for other
applications). When launching Wine, there are 2 lines related to this in the
console log :
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:949:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) The dmix plugin supports only
playback stream
ALSA lib pcm.c:7236:(snd_pcm_recover) underrun occured

Instead of applying patches, I tried to solve the problem at X11
I configured COMPIZ to switch desktops when the mouse reaches de edge of the
screen, with 0 delay. Then set the game window to display in all desktops.
Its a bit more playable now, I'm just concerned if this could cause brain
damage or something.. lol don't do it with the CUBE

PSdeluxe,an artshow that comes in a CD-ROM of Adobe Photoshop 3.0 does not
play.
It is really a very old CD-ROM, it was meant to be played in Windows 3.1. I
have another one of Windows 95 that plays OK.
