Tested latest version of wine 1.3.5 it also break my workaround from version
1.3.3 and freeze. So again I downgraded to 1.3.3 and waiting for some fix from
wine team.

Correct, this patch doesn't handle all cases. That's why it's here not in Wine.
You are welcome to fix it.

How can this be a duplicate if this bug came first?

This is a duplicate of Bug 9002
But for some reason it's been closed, although it still makes Call of Duty and
Halo completely unplayable.

The issue is re-introduced for me since Wine-1.3.0. The same with the current
1.3.5 version.

Summary: only low graphic settings available in WoW
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: skully(a)gmx.ch
With the latest World of Warcraft Patch 4.0.1 i only have low quality settings
available in the graphics section.
Some settings are not selectable cause of missing shader 3.0.
See the screenshot for details.
I am using Ubuntu x64 10.04 and tried it with wine 1.2.1 and 1.3.4.
Game runs with opengl and a NVIDIA 9600 GT (Ubuntu 10.04 nv driver).
The game itself is running fine but just low settings.
