Summary: symbol font messes up (at least) π in firefox
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.1
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: fonts
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: wbreyha(a)gmx.net
Hi!
As soon as the wine symbol.ttf font is installed Firefox doesn't display the
HTML Code π correctly if font-family="Symbol" is used.
Uninstalling the font instantly fixes this behaviour.
I'm using Fedora 13 with
firefox-3.6.10-1.fc13.i686
wine-symbol-fonts-1.3.1-1.fc13.noarch
Regards,
Wolfgang Breyha

Unable to test this bug as attempting to install this with wine 1.3.4 (set to
any of the various windows versions in winecfg) gives "This computer already
has a newer version of HTML help."

Bioshock 2 fails to launch, giving a "No disk in drive" error even when you
have a real legitimate disk in. This is after working around

Screenshot - 1.3.4
In current git (1.3.4), I am able to start Chessmentor demo. However, the units
are not displayed on the screen (as the screenshot above shows), hence this
makes the program unusable.

This is still an issue in current git (1.3.4). When I try to start the game, I
get this messed up logo upside down, and nothing happens after. I have to kill
the game manually.
This line appears to be looped in my logs : fixme:quartz:Parser_QueryInterface
No interface for {36b73880-c2c8-11cf-8b46-00805f6cef60}! I tried again with
native quartz, didn't helped. I attached both relevant parts of my logs into
the same file here.
The Windows version has to be set to Win98. WinXP does not work.
