Console Output while running "Robin Hood - Legend of Sherwood"
I would like to confirm that I am also having some mouse related issues in the
game "Robin Hood - Legend of Sherwood". I have submitted my test results in the
AppDB and attached my console output.
I am using Mandriva Linux 2010.1 Spring Free with Wine 1.3.8. My graphics card
is a Nvidia Fx5500.
Everything works fine in the game - even the videos, except for the mouse: It
keeps jumping back to its initial position when the mouse is moved. I can't
select anything from the main menu and can't therefore get into the game.

Summary: World of Warcraft downloads obliterate network
connection
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.38
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: leetteri(a)gmail.com
After World of Warcraft starts downloading something (patch downloader, the
in-game downloads...) my network connection completely freezes and I'm
basically unable to do anything network related but World of Warcraft keeps
running "fine".
I think it's specifically DNS that stops working but I'm not completely sure
about that. I'm completely unable to open any web pages in a browser or connect
to anything and it persists even if I kill Wine. I've tried rmmodding my
ethernet module, ifdown && ifup, etc... Nothing seems to make it work again
except waiting for like 10 minutes after a "wineserver -k".
Wine is constantly spamming this in a loop in the terminal:
"fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW Option INTERNET_OPTION_CONNECT_TIMEOUT
(10000): STUB
fixme:wininet:InternetSetOptionW INTERNET_OPTION_SEND/RECEIVE_TIMEOUT 10000
fixme:wininet:URLCache_FindFirstFreeEntry Grow file
err:wininet:CommitUrlCacheEntryInternal no free entries
fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation (0x1659e390,0x1659e990): stub"
I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 and Wine 1.3.8 from Ubuntu's PPA's:
"Linux hostname 2.6.35-23-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Wed Nov 24 10:18:49 UTC 2010
i686 GNU/Linux"
"wine-1.3.8"
I'm using a static IP behind a NAT and using my ISP's DNS servers. My
integrated NIC uses the "sky2" module. I don't think that my router is choking
up from packets since its CPU usage isn't spiking up.
Wine 1.2 also exhibits this same behaviour.

Just downloaded "Pure Pinball 2.0 Redux" (October 19th, 2004) at GoG.com. And
it crashes as soon as the 3rd screen (with the girls) appears with a

Sorry, I mean 1.3.8. (this is not my first mistake between the .8 and .9
versions)
The window manager still has to refresh after the run, but that's a bug in X
(which is not likely to be ever fixed, normally X does not need to refresh the
whole panel). I guess this also happens with the Windows taskbar. But all the
other programs (Nautilus, Evolution, Google Chrome) are directly restored to
their normal state.
I did not notice cells that become corrupted or all alike as someone said 10
years ago. This seems to be fixed.
When some program outside Wine tries to draw, everything drawn appears in the
rectangles but they stay scrambled and Scramble stays running and looking
normal.
This is not buggy anymore.
Of course the window of a non-Wine program isn't locked, but this is not needed
anymore.

Attached patch seems to working. Additionaly searching google by this GUID
shows, that more apps can be affected by this bug.
