output when running it from console.
I was able to reproduce what seems to be the most important crash bug related
to Warcraft III world editor since it looks like it is the one that happens
most frequently, as a matter of fact, once I learned how to avoided I was able
to run world editor for a long amount of time.
To reproduce the bug;
- gnome, metacity 2.18.
- Warcraft III 1.21 or 1.22
- Run worldeditor (after version 1.21 CD is not necessary anymore
- Once it opens, switch to another virtual desktop, then switch back to the one
where the world editor windows are present, and make world editor active again.
It will page fault.

Several surface textures are missing in this game, probably due to the below

The bug was not shown in the err log proir to wine version 0.9.49 but the
surfaces were missing anyway.

Backtrace from winedbg inspired crash
Using a clean 1.1.19 wineprefix, I installed Acrobat 9 Pro (downloadable free
from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro/tryout.html ). Program
installs correctly, and will start correctly if launched from command line or
playonlinux. However, if launched in conjunction with winedbg, a language
selector will be displayed, then the program crashes.

Summary: Mashed InstallShield installer fails during
preparation
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.35
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: mycroes(a)gmail.com
When installing Mashed: drive to survive the installer will stop while actually
loading the installer itself, but after a language selection dialog. It will
show the following error in a messagebox:
"An installation support file
'C:\windows\temp\{2EC1A4D5-4217-4ABF-A783-3706EE405716}\isrt.dll' could not be
installed. (0x80070002)".
The wine output contains the following repeated message:
"err:ole:marshal_object object doesn't expose interface
{be6115a1-7de5-48dc-ad2a-25060e00fce2}, failing with error 0x80004002
err:ole:ClientIdentity_QueryMultipleInterfaces IRemUnknown_RemQueryInterface
failed with error 0x80004002", before that there's just a few fixmes.
The game uses an InstallShield Wizard. I used a clean wineprefix, without
anythin from WineTricks.

AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: andreryan908(a)gmail.com
Altera's TimeQuest Analyser in Quartus 2 Web Edition is unusable as the tool
that converts a Quartus 2 project into a circuit timing map crashes on startup
saying that the module could not be found due to error c0000008 ("Invalid
Handle").
The Web Edition of Quartus 2 is a free download but is 1.5GiB.
I had to downgrade to 1.1.39 in order to install ModelSim (due to bug #22066)
but it doesn't work on that version either.
