Steps followed to reproduce: 1. Run install from the terminal: wine "D:\setup.exe" 2. When prompted for second disk, run "wine eject d:" (physical eject or normal umount commands still do not work fully; disk ejects, but second disk cannot mount) 3. After the second disk is mounted, continue install, will progress to 100%. 4. When prompted for the first disk, run "wine eject d:" again and put in the first disk 5. After mounting, try to continue install and immediately get the "An I/O error occurred while installing a file. This is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file" message with "Abort" and "Retry" options. Retry does nothing, Abort rolls back the install. It's not mainly a driver thing, but also the question if the hardware supports the minimum GLSL feature set. Also keep in mind that with the OSS 3d drivers from mesa choosing GLSL is actually not such a good idea, since the compiler is _very_ far from producing optimal code (when comparing to nvidia blob and fglrx).
