The current version is 9.0, and crashes on launch (installer works fine
though).

Still starts fine in git, but the graphics are screwed up. No crash though.

This may be one of those applications that sets the work directory in the .lnk
shortcut, and fails unless started from that directory...

Mostly (not always) open window of Steam.exe cause full processor load. When
window closed to the tray — everything is fine. Sometimes, opening it again
are ok too — processor is idle.
Seems to be a regression from a versions about 0.9.3x — as i can remember,
there was no such problem with old versions (but of course, there was other
problems with Steam).

Terminal output in latest Git.
This seems to be different to bug 20736 which was due to
imagehlp/ImageAddCertificate(), and different to bug 20858 which can't even be
reached any more.
When lauching game a completing installation dialogue appears, but fails at 1%
with the error "Incomplete Installation (2)".
Attached is the terminal output. The game is trying to load between line 20
and line 49, which is from:
err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {9a5ea990-3034-4d6f-9128-01f3c61022bc} not
registered
to
fixme:shdocvw:OleObject_Close (0x1def00)->(1)
The rest is just Steam.

Summary: Blitzkrieg game runs too fast
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.31
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: pawel.stolowski(a)wp.pl
Blitzkrieg game runs too fast; it renders the game unplayable. The problem
manifests itself in:
- main menu, when entering profile name (cursor blinks very fast).
- the game itself: units move in a blink of an eye, map scrolling is
instantaneous, highlight for active action icon blinks too fast, water effects
(rain, snow) are very fast etc.
Note, that due to bug #20311, it's only possible to start German or Russian
campaign.
