Summary: Excel: Advanced sorting doesn't have dropdown menus.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.2
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: church.jacob(a)gmail.com
Advanced sorting should have dropdown menus so you can specify which column to
sort and in what order. Without the dropdown menus, it is impossible to sort by
more than 1 column at a time. Sorting by a single column with the A-Z or Z-A
buttons still works.

Go ahead and create a wiki page if you like, describing the problem briefly
and listing affected games. If that will decrease discussion in Bugzilla,
it'd be worth it.
If we can reliably detect this condition,
it might be worth adding a oneshot warning like
WARN_(winediag)("This app may require a newer graphics card to run well on
Wine.");

In fact a much better bug rename should be:
"Rendering is defective when a program need to use the maximun number of
constants of a graphic card" or "Rendering is garbled when a program need to
use the maximun number of constants of a graphic card"

Tons of applications suffer of this bug. And this bug makes the games
unplayable. I think it is justified to increase the severity of this bug.

Yes, did it on February and a few minutes ago. But you must agree that Steam is
a gamers platform, and gamers upgrade their gaming rigs every two years, so
those numbers aren't a surprise. For non gamers usually a PC longs for five
years or even more. In fact I have my main PC with an 7600GT and a notebook
with an a 9300M. The first suffers the problem, the second don't.
WONTFIX will be fine, if:
This bug appear on http://wiki.winehq.org/KnownIssues and has a wiki page like
http://wiki.winehq.org/DIBEngine explaining thoroughfully the issue (something
like wine uses constants for recreating d3d effects and internal
functionality), states that it will not be fixed as is a limitation of wine
with games that uses all constants and cards that have that fixed number of
constants.
And maybe renaming this bug to something more descriptive like "Programs using
all constants of a vertex shader version fails to render correctly in cards of
the same class.
Do you agree?

Did you look at the link? 80% of Steam users already have DirectX10 capable
hardware.

Summary: Apple Safari needs MSVCR80.dll._except_handler4_common

Severity: trivial
Priority: P2
Component: msvcrt
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: austinenglish(a)gmail.com
It installs its own version, but if you install it in quiet mode (/qn) the
install is broken in wine (bug 23493). A few dlls are missing. Install
winetricks vcrun6 to get msvcrt, but then it fails on msvcr80. Winetricks
vcrun2005 works around it, of course.
But if/when wine prefers its builtin version, safari will fail without this...

Summary: Samsung Kies installer stops early
Product: Wine

Simple patch to get the installer a bit further
Didn't find a direct link (yet) for the executable. You can however look for
the Samsung Galaxy S and under support you will find the Kies installer
(Kies_1.5.1.10071_32.exe).
Starting the installer gives a few screens and than stops right after I get in
the console:
fixme:msxml:domdoc_setProperty Unknown property L"ProhibitDTD"
Running current Git and on a clean .wine
'winetricks msxml3' gets passed this but then the installer crashes while
trying to install WMFDist11-WindowsXP-ENU.cab (some Windows Media stuff
apparantly) but that should be for another bug.
The attached (obviously not correct) patch also gets me further and of course
crashes at the same point.

Summary: double click does not work in cell like window

I have a windows application installed via wine on gnome.
Almost everything works correctly except 1 window. Usually on this window you
can souble click a cell and edit it.
Under wine in linux, it will not acceot the double click - is this a bug or a
missing DLL somewhere?
