albumplayer with dotnet20 installed
Hi, Albumplayer 5.1B needs the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 for cover
lookup on Amazon.
I tried running this function with winetricks dotnet20 installed.
The program hangs and becomes unresponsive.
I attached a console output,
Thanks

When attempting to launch the program there is a failure to during load time.
It should be noted that the "Champions Online.exe" binary patches and then
launches the main application "Champions Online\Live\GameClient.exe" with a
bunch of arguments.
The issue *probably* is centered around the error
err:d3d_surface:IWineD3DVolumeImpl_UnlockBox trying to lock unlocked
volume@0x42e14b8
which was found in the log attached.

I can run this games with wine now, but for some reason, sound effects will
play normally, but background music won't play at all. Movies are not playing
either.
I've tried with native QUARTZ, DSOUND, STREAMCI, tried installing codecs with
winetricks. Didn't change a thing.
Maybe it's related to this fixme I'm seeing on both games:
fixme:dsalsa:IDsDriverBufferImpl_SetVolumePan (0x217e78,0x217dc0): stub (SONIC
HEROES)
fixme:dsalsa:IDsDriverBufferImpl_SetVolumePan (0x19f740,0x19f640): stub (PSUAI)

With wine-1.1.26-231-gfe9d360, after The Movies demo installer fails due to
unrelated issues in winemp3.acm, the wineserver will sometimes crash when the
installer exits, leaving the installer's WinZip extractor hanging. gdb shows:

Screenshot showing missing window border in Safari 3.2
When loading up a new instance of Safari 3.2.3 (either loading up the browser,
or creating a "new window" from within the browser), the frame around the
window (including the ribbed triangle at the bottom right for resizing are
missing).
This is easily rectified by either:
- Resizing the window using the top-right corner
- Minimising the window and then maximising again
This seems to cause the border to be redrawn, after which it is present until
the window is closed; although any "new windows" spawned from Safari's File
menu will still show the glitch until they too are either resized or minimised.
I've attached a screenshot of the missing border for reference.

But removing negotiate.c entirely would make it harder to work around bug
16905.

Console log with wine git
Eve online hangs from time to time for no apparent reason, one time it is while
moving stuff to cargo hold, other when i open transation window and other when
i try to fit my ship. I can't really reproduce it beside waiting for it to
crash.
Also wine doesnt throw proper backtrace, only that its starting debugger but
doesn't really do anything after that.

In Everquest II, the particle effects do not draw correctly. Most of the time
they don't show up at all, however, occasionally they are drawn and the screen
look correct for a split second.
This actually causes some of the important game features to not function
correctly. Playing with any GFX setting doesn't seem to fix it, including the
setting of ComplexShaderDistance to -1.
Using Ubuntu 8.10 x86 with nvidia 177 drivers.
