I am running wine-1.2-rc6 on Ubuntu 10.04 which came from the PPA. The program installed fine, WINE then alerted me I needed to install mono for it to work, so I did using winetricks, and the errors began. When you run a game, resizing the window will not change the rendered graphics inside. Instead the rendered graphics remain the same size in the bottom left of the window. I'm using SecureCRT since a long time with wine and i hadn't any problems at all in the past. Since installing 1.2-rc6 today i've the problem that when i open up two connections to two different servers. I can click on tab one to select server one but after that i cannot click tab two again. Nothing happens. I get no output to the console when i do that. As the latest version of steam does support 98 and requires you to upgrade systems you cannot run the game. One possible way to fix it may be when/if steam is released for Linux. A wine developer could ask valve for the integration of wine into steam. Not only would it mean Linux users could run steam games that are windows only it means more games are going to be bought from steam benefiting both.
