Summary: counter strike source: occlusion query, wrong thread

Version: 1.3.35

Counter Strike: Source is spewing many of these type "fixme" messages:
fixme:d3d:wined3d_occlusion_query_ops_get_data 0x229d81e0 Wrong thread,
returning 1.
AFAIK, this is not affecting the rendering/playability of the game. It just
seems to be spamming the terminal while playing the game.
I'm running CS:S on top of a radeon 4850 which is being driven by the open
source mesa/gallium3d drivers

Bug #: 29414
Summary: thread window doesn't get keyboard focus in virtual
desktop mode
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.35
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Keywords: download, source, testcase
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kgbricola(a)web.de
Classification: Unclassified
Created attachment 38072
--> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=38072
testcase: creat a example thread
Attached is a test case with source and executable.
Steps to reproduce:
- wine explorer /desktop=foo,800x600 graphics.exe
- press the start button
- the new window should now have keyboard focus (but it doesn't) - could be
verified by hitting any key, which would close the window
This works in full screen mode and on win XP. The window could get the keyboard
focus by clicking outside the window and clicking inside the window. It won't
get the focus by only clicking inside.

Summary: WMP9 causes two unhandled exceptions on every Wine run
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.20
Platform: PC

llDownloads.aspx?displang=en&qstechnology=
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kennybobs(a)o2.co.uk
Created an attachment (id=20692)
--> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=20692)
Wine 1.1.20 console output
WMP9 is needed by a number of other Windows apps.
WMP9 causes two unhandled exceptions that could be safely ignored, but Wine
1.1.20 has introduced a "Program Error" dialog in winedbg. This dialog shows
twice every time any app is run under Wine.
To recreate:
1. winetricks -q wmp9
2. winecfg
Although this is a new feature, I guess it's technically a regression.
Two options: 1. Fix the exceptions or 2. Remove the dialog from winedbg.
Unhandled exception: unimplemented function ntoskrnl.exe.KeInitializeMutex
Unhandled exception: unimplemented function
ntoskrnl.exe.ExInitializeResourceLite
To clarify, once WMP9 is installed, two unhandled exceptions occur EVERY TIME
Wine is run.

Bug #: 29371
Summary: Support GNOME Mutter's new suspended compositing for
fullscreen apps
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: alexhultman(a)gmail.com
Classification: Unclassified
Mutter 3.2 supports suspended composition for apps that requests it. Wine
doesn't seem to request / fall into the heuristics.
I'm currently playing some DOOM 3 and it's clearly not undirected when playing
from GNOME Shell. Fallback mode has better performance as nothing is
composited.
If an app is fullscreen it should suspend composition.
>From https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=597014:
> Have we checked a variety of games to see that they are reliably using
> override-redirect windows for their fullscreen version?
Yes I did that back then when I decided on that heuristics, even "benchmark
only" stuff like unengine heaven does that.
They missed Wine games.
