Summary: SSL connection not work(NETCON_secure_connect
SSL_connect failed: 12056)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.10
Platform: x86-64

Status: UNCONFIRMED

I experienced minor problem with running LibertyKeeper on Gentoo amd64
2.6.36-kernel
app-emulation/wine-1.3.10 USE="X alsa cups dbus fontconfig gecko gnutls jpeg
lcms ldap mp3 ncurses openal opengl oss perl png samba ssl threads truetype
win32 win64 xcomposite xinerama xml"
Actually program launch, but I can't connect e.g. login to server. I know
exactly what cause a trouble:
err:wininet:NETCON_secure_connect SSL_connect failed: 12056
Anyway I was successfully running this app on previous wine releases, less than
1.3.1, think it was before 64bit support implemented.

While using Circuitmaker 2000 pro - when I duplicate a part in a schematic
editor near the bottom edge of the window this cloned part tries to "pan" down
the working area in an uncotrollable way.
The only thing to do is to stop the software and start again so one can loose
an unsaved part of the job.
So I must remember now not to clone schematic parts near the bottom edge of the
Circuitmaker's schematic editor.

The game (Planescape: Torment, GoG.com version here) crashes shortly after
starting, without displaying anything, in the current git version of Wine
(wine-1.3.15-205-ge030b3c).
c82cb23bc2d6afea639e1013643df5e42bc33844 is the first bad commit
commit c82cb23bc2d6afea639e1013643df5e42bc33844
Author: Alexandre Julliard <julliard(a)winehq.org>
Date: Tue Mar 8 19:37:08 2011 +0100
gdi32: Add initial support for a null graphics driver.
The patch cannot be reverted cleanly on the current git but
git checkout c82cb23bc2d6afea639e1013643df5e42bc33844 >>the game crashes
git reset --hard HEAD^ >>no crash, it's starting normally
This bug also affects Sanitarium (an adventure game, developed by ASC Games):
the game crashes while loading Chapter 2. That particular chapter in the game
was always a bit problematic in Wine (although there was no crash): the game
produced the following messages constantly in the console while loading Chapter
2:
err:d3d_surface:IWineD3DBaseSurfaceImpl_CreateDIBSection CreateDIBSection
failed!
err:gdi:alloc_gdi_handle out of GDI object handles, expect a crash
Planescape: Torment also always produced the same messages for me while
running.
Unfortunately, I can't find a demo for PS:Torment, and the demo of Sanitarium
doesn't contain the problematic chapter.
Setting DirectDrawRenderer to opengl (in the registry) "workarounds" the crash
but there are graphical glitches in both games with ddr=opengl.

Summary: Opening wine configuration tool for the first time
brings up an error window - winemenubuilder
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.10
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: veejunk1(a)hotmail.com
Running the "Configure Wine" utility brought up an error message window
"winemenubuilder.exe has encountered an error...".
This happened after a clean install of Wine-1.3.10 in ubuntu 10.04 from the
ppa.
No windows applications were installed - I just went to
Applications>Wine>Configure Wine to see what the defaults were and the Error
window popped up. After a while the configuration window appeared and seems to
be ok. I closed the config and error windows and tried it again. No error
message this time, the config window came up ok.
This looks like a first run issue. Perhaps the config window code expects at
least one windows app to have been installed?
This gives a bad impression of wine to a new user.

Summary: HTTP_ParseDay uses "sun" as variable name, which is
GCC reserved word on Solaris
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.15
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Solaris
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wininet
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: hume-ml+winehq(a)bofh.ca
in dlls/wininet/http.c, lines 3583 and 3593 have a variable named "sun".
Compilation of this file fails with "error: syntax error before numeric
constant". This is because "sun" is redefined to "1" by GCC when compiling,
because it is GCC running on Solaris (and thus "sun" as in "Sun").
Redefining the variable as "Sun" is sufficient to compile the object. To be
more careful, though, I would recommend simply spelling out all the day names.

Summary: Wine 1.3.15 breaks side mouse buttons in Team Fortress

In wine 1.3.14, my side mouse buttons in Team Fortress 2 worked fine. Upon
upgrading to wine 1.3.15, they were no longer recognized at all; they act like
nothing is pressed when in either the key configuration or in-game. Reverting
to 1.3.14 makes them work again.
Complete and likely unnecessary info: Arch Linux 64 bit, rolling release up to
date as of today, March 5th, with the liquorix kernel. Testing/unstable
repositories are not in use. Logitech g5 mouse.
