OpenGL mode works fine both in fullscreen and windowed mode. DirectX mode works only in fullscreen mode. In DirectX windowed mode the game shows only an empty/black window (while sound is playing and apparently the menu is available because mouse clicks do work but you cant see anything). To reproduce the problem in the demo: After installation start the demo like that: wine Wildhollow.exe -d -w Other command line parameters: -f fullscreen mode -w windowed mode -g use OpenGL -d use DirectX The same problem with Wine-1.0.1, 1.2.3 and so on.
