Forwarding it to CreateTypeLib2 makes it work without a problem, but the actual on-disk file format will be different, so i'm not sure if this acceptable as a general solution. The drawing of the bitmap has improved substantially but it still shows some green/blue lines around the shadow (when it should just be black/gray). I'm attaching a screenshot.
