Bug #: 31456
Summary: Emulating a virtual screen does not work
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.10
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: torgeriedel(a)gmx.de
Classification: Unclassified
Emulating a virtual screen does not work in 1.5.10, it looks like a virtual
screen is created and displayed but the screen resolution of the whole desktop
is changed too.
Starting an old application using a resolution of somewhat 320x200 makes it
impossible to do anything cause the whole desktop seems to be messed up.
Closing the started windows application changes the resolution back. That's the
good point.

Bug #: 31987
Summary: FindNextFile/DeleteFile loop fails for directories
with many files
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Mac OS X

ReportedBy: aric(a)codeweavers.com
Classification: Unclassified
Created attachment 42153

patch to show the issue
Doing a looping FindNextFile/DeleteFile is suppose to work on windows.
On wine if your directory contains enough files to fill the data in
FIND_FIRST_INFO. Then when FindNextFile reloads the directory structure it
causes it so skip a bunch of files because the state of the directory has
changed.
The attached patch adds a wine test that demonstrates the issue.
You will notice in the trace a jump
file.c:2319: c:\test-dir\file38.a.a
file.c:2319: c:\test-dir\file68.a.a
this means files 39 - 67 do not get deleted. resulting in the RemoveDirectory
failing.
This issue affects the MechWarrior Online Patcher.

Summary: datetime control SetRange() has no effect, enter big
year will cause CTime assert failed
Product: Wine
Version: 1.2
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: comctl32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: drangon.mail(a)gmail.com
When use datetime control, call SetRange() to limit time, then modified the
year value to out of range, the modification can success, so SetRange() has no
effect.
In Windows, the same application, the same SetRange() call, then modified the
year value to out of range, the datetime control will refuse the modification,
and return to old value.
I think there should be some check in DATETIME_Char() function in file
"dlls/comctl32/datetime.c" , after change the datetime, call something like
MONTHCAL_IsDateInValidRange() to validate the value.

This is odd... the DLL tries to free that stuff on unload.
Not sure why it's not happening.
