In this case, I wanted to run Microsoft Money 2001 (bug 6189) without changing my system clock. A simple testcase with notepad shows it doesn't work though: $ wine RunAsDate.exe /immediate 01/01/2001 "C:\windows\notepad.exe" In notepad, press F5. Should see your arbitrary date. Instead, you get the 'real' time.
