Expanding a drive letter, such as C:\, shows directory subitems, but an extraneous ":" item appears at the top of the directory listing also. Attempting to expand this item causes a dialog box to display complaining of an access violation, and expanding directory subitems causes the ":" item to also be added to their respective subdirectory lists.
