This does not work in Wine 1.6. It DOES work if the "key" is on one line, and the name/value pair is on another line. Other examples show multiple name/value pairs behind the key - still all on one line. The latest version of Spotify (0.5) is crashing as soon as I log in. An error box appears saying: Program Error The program spotify.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. This can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in Wine... etc, etc' I've never had any trouble before but since the latest version of Wine, this has kept popping up. Have emailed the Spotify folks the IT department here mentioned that it could possibly be my account being corrupt for Linux and that could be at Spotify's end. Am waiting to hear back from them. In the meantime, the terminal output I get is below. Any pointers would be appreciated. Or if you need any more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch. Thanks in advance.
