Wine Debug
Hello,
I tried to run several NCSoft games, like AION, B&S, Lineage 2 on my mac and in
all of them I can't even start the launcher, it's always return the same error
E010005 with a message that it can't connect to the server.
I tried several things to workaround this launcher problems, changes into DNS,
switch the conn parameters to use IP, but it always don't connect and return
some error about it.
But the most strange part is that it connects with no problem on Linux, but
when I try to run on OSX it give me this problem.
Searching in debug I found this two messages against winsock, just after the
error dialog being called:
warn:winsock:WS_setsockopt SO_RCVBF for 0 bytes is too small: ignored
warn:winsock:wsaErrno errno 22, (Invalid argument)
I put the wine debug in attachment and a message error window. If someone can
watch and try to fix the problem I will appreciate so much.
Tnx

Log from running the game with no directx9 installed
I have run into problems with running This War of Mine under wine 1.9.11. I
install the game into a clean wine prefix. Then trying to run it I get an error
that says:
err:module:import_dll Library X3DAudio1_7.dll (which is needed by
L"Z:\\dane\\gry\\twom\\This War of Mine.exe") not found
(full log attached). I figured out this file is provided by DirectX, so I use
winetricks to install it:
WINEPREFIX="/dane/gry/twom/.wine" winetricks directx9
Then the games complain about missing d3dx9_43, so I install that as well with
winetricks (log attached). Then the game finally starts but there is no sound.
Again, log attached.
My system:
- openSUSE 11.4
- wine 1.9.11
- kernel 2.6.37
I can provide more information if necessary.

Going to make this short. I open a terminal window and go to my
/home/username/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/NVMS-1000/ and then run "wine
NVMS-1000.exe and the program opens and then when it gets to the loading spot
it just stays at loading while the terminal continues to display
"fixme:time:GetSystemTimes (0x345e968,0x345e970,0x345e978): Stub!"
I have tried a couple things like changing the application to run under a
different OS. That did not work. I tried typing in "echo 0|sudo tee
/proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope" before running the program. I don't see
anything on the web pertaining to (0x345e968,0x345e970,0x345e978) values so I
decided to open a case. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

SSL Server Test (Powered by Qualys SSL Labs) shows certificates chains issues
for www.winehq.org [1]. It says "Incorrect order, Extra certs" in Additional
Certificates section.
I'm not sure whether this is a serious issue, or not. But, it seems something
wrong with server configuration. So, I report on this.

Hello folks,
similar to bug 36466
Actually not implementing scripting host 'Wscript.Quit' has more severe
consequences since many scripts use 'On Error Resume Next'.
Those simply continue execution with intended behaviour (in various cases
ending up in a crash)
--- snip ---
On Error Resume Next
If WScript.Arguments.Count <> 1 Then
Wscript.Echo "need one argument!"
Wscript.Quit 127
End If
Wscript.Echo "not reached"
--- snip ---
Regards
