Bug ID: 44891
Summary: Stuttering sound in Turok (Remaster, GOG-Version)
Product: Wine
Version: 3.3
Hardware: x86
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
Reporter: me(a)stefannaumann.de
Distribution: ---
In Turok Remaster (GOG-Version) there is stuttery sound. It seems to only
occur, when there are bass-tones playing, e.g. when the pillars retract, there
are some low tones, where wine seems to have problems.
This does not occur with the bgm music only, but it does occur, when the bgm is
set to 0. So the problem definitely lies in the effect-sounds and / or their
handling.

This actually affects two components, msvcp, and msvcrt. msvcp ignores flags
and msvcrt complains about stubs in multiple addresses.

This is most likely caused by not having the necessary graphics drivers
installed.
Install a driver providing OpenGL 2.0 or higher, or, if this is not possible,
make sure the ANGLE Open GL ES 2.0 emulation libraries (libEGL.dll,
libGLESv2.dll and d3dcompiler_*.dll) are available in the application
executable's directory or in a location listed in PATH.

Railroad Tycoon 3 - Backtrace when starting a server (wine 3.6)
Hello everyone,
I am using the latest 2.0.0.6 Gog.com version of Railroad Tycoon 3 and tried to
host a Multiplayer game from the main menu. It throws a backtrace immediately
afterwards.
There is also mention of a demo version in the AppDB (download link no longer
valid though).
Somebody in the German ubuntuusers.de Forum also has this problem with 3.0:
https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/playonlinux-railroad-tycoon-3-multiplaye…
Hope this helps.
