After 6e619d98a30 [1], some in-game models of Final Fantasy XI Online are
incorrect, depending on the camera/view angle.
I /think/ the incorrect textures shown /might/ be models from some other
location, actually, and not just broken textures, but I'm not entirely sure at
this time.
I can prepare screenshots/videos in case they might be helpful.
Thank you!

After 5b60f4649b1 [1], some graphics are acting weird in Final Fantasy XI
Online.
Some special effects make models transparent at least partially, or
replaced/overlayed(?) with other ones, while for others, it depends just on the
camera/view angle.
I can prepare video/screenshots if that will be of more help than this
description.
Thank you!

After starting MaxQDA24 i get to the "Welcome menue". There I Want to start a
free trial period - which needs a personal testcode.
When klicking on the button "start your free trial", I enter the new testcode
and click on the button "activate". Then the program gives me the output "The
code you entered is invalid or does not exist. Please check"
I could reproduce this more than 5-10 times, with two different testcodes.
So under this conditions the programm is useless.

Splitting this off from bug 52354: MDK2 from GoG fails to launch on Mac OS X
10.9, but works on 10.10 and newer releases.
There are some OpenGL errors printed out, but I'm not sure if that's the root
cause or just a side effect.
Marking as minor since 10.9 is quite old and newer OS versions are working
correctly.

If a wineserver crash happens all other processes stay hanging in the system.
These processes may have still windows open,
which no longer react to user input.
And may hold resources until the user reboots or kills the processes.
Would it be possible for them to just end too,
when the connection to wineserver disappears?

Wine terminal error messages and screenshots
Hi,
Lately, and all of a sudden, Wine does not work properly. Each time I try to
run eMule, Synthesia piano app, winecfg and likely any other app under wine it
opens in a most blank window, or it closes when clicking any blank button.
OS: Xubuntu 24.04.1 LTS. Wine version: wine-9.0 (Ubuntu 9.0~repack-4build3).
Yes, I have uninstalled and re-installed the currrent Wine version 9. Also I
tried to install previous versions, like the 6 or the 8 (by the way, I couldn't
install the previous versions properly, only the current 9). I also have used
chown and chmod commands to make sure there are no permission problems, without
avail.
Running these apps from the terminal it throws the error messages that I have
copied and pasted in the text file that I attach you. Interestingly, all wine
apps run OK if running them with sudo, but this is kinda of dangerous I've read
somewhere.
I also attach you some screenshots.

This bug occurs with Kingdom Rush Alliance, might also occur with other
fullscreen games.
To reproduce the bug:
1. Open the aforementioned game
2. Switch to another window by a keyboard shortcut
3. Switch back to the game
On Wine 9.20, the game is then displayed in fullscreen as it should be. On Wine
9.22, however, the taskbar is displayed over the game and there are black
fields on the left and right

wine8 vs wine9
I'm running into an issue where an application that can be started from
explorer.exe or cmd.exe is not showing the console output to the unix console.
The "buggy" behavior is present in wine v9, but wine v8 shows the console
output just fine. I believe the related change is in this commit:
https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/commit/4b63e888945b8ada2ddc043e435b93…
In the commit, it is stated that this behavior can be achieved by starting the
app with "./wine app | cat", however that does not seem to be working with wine
or wineconsole (Please see attachments)
When using WINEDEBUG=+console, I can see the application interacting and
writing to the windows console, however nothing is shown on the screen. I need
guidance on this issue.
