RtlGetNtVersionNumbers

Hello everybody, I was searching Google for info about RtlGetNtVersionNumbers and I came across this message, http://www.winehq.com/hypermail/wine-users/2001/12/0488.html, posted on wine-users. Unfortunately, the attachment is not there. Does anyone know what happened to this patch? It doesn't appear to have been sent to wine-patches nor did it make it into the CVS. Perhaps the patch was incorrect as he said his implementation might be off. If this is the case, does anyone have more info about RtlGetNtVersionNumbers? Thanks, Josh

WINE Performance tweaking and known bottlenecks

What options/tricks/techniques can I use to enhance performance under WINE. I am trying to get Total Annihilation to run smoothly on a K6-2 233MHz machine, it runs and is getting close to playable. The only unusual thing is that the framerate is the same at 1024x768 as in 640x480. What is likely to be the bottleneck and what can I do about it? I'm willing to go into the code if neccessary. I have limited programming ability but I am an exceptionally fast learner.

Endian-ness?

Hi, I appear to have hit a little endian-ness problem. Can anyone point out what I am doing wrong or how to fix it please? olefont.c #includes wtypes.h This defines a structure as #ifdef BIG_ENDIAN. We hit this case and the parameters are defined in the wrong order as they are passed in from a windows dll. We hit is because endian.h #defines BIG_ENDIAN if __USE_BSD is defined, and features.h #defines _BSD_SOURCE and subsequently __USE_BSD. This is on Mandrake 8.2 if it makes a difference. (PATCH) SPI_GETDESKWALLPAPER Implementation

Hello, this is my first real patch for Wine. It implements the SystemParametersInfo SPI_GETDESKWALLPAPER action and fixes SPI_SETDESKWALLPAPER so it updates the Wallpaper entry in the registry. (Wine Bug-Tasklet #461) I've also included a simple test for these two actions. Infinite loop in winedebug

During an installation, wine crashed and went into the debugger, which proceeded to go into an infinite loop. This is with current CVS. Hallo, to my knowledge, viewing the patch contend can at the moment only be done by webpages with an address like http://cvs.winehq.com/patch.py?id=XXX, where XXX can only be known from the postings from wine-cvs(a)winehq.com. I would propose that we create another page, where all the patches are listed with their subject ( like "wine/server thread.c" for "http://cvs.winehq.com/patch.py?id=1024708836163791355983452"), the subject being a link to the real patch and the newest patches added to the top of the patch.
