The patch is similar to that posted by dejan (thanks). Anyway. When installing DCOM 98 you get one of the follwing errors. When using wine DCOM98.EXE It extracts the files and then says: You need Windows 98 to install DCOM98. If you are using Windows NT please install latest service packs. If you use the WINEDLLOVERRIDES thing you get a traceback error but I dont have that avaliable at the moment. Product: Wine Version: 20050830 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: P5 Component: wine-binary AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org ReportedBy: philip.kent(a)ntlworld.com Upon compiling Wine on Ubuntu Hoary or Ubuntu Breezy it crashes while getting to compiling the X server libary. Sadly I do not have time to type it up here but more information is avaliable here: http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=65915&highlight=wine I get both errors posted (actually I am PPower). I can report that this problem also occures under CVS (however at the time the CVS hasnt been updated since 20050830 was dropped out. so it doesnt really make any difference).
