Summary: Computations in filemaker
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.22.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: enriqueartal(a)gmail.com
I have been able to use FileMaker 5 (and 6) with wine in linux with fedora
core 5 (and previous releases). For some files, wine-0.9.22+filemaker is not
able to see the contents of fields which are computed from the entries of
other fields. In fact it happened also to previous releases. I have an old rpm
file wine-0.20040914-1.rhfc2.nr and for this one everything works ok with
filemaker.

Strange. Do you use the default libdir? I usually configure Wine with
"--prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib32", and I think I remember a recent bug
report where Wine crashes when using a custom libdir - in a similar fashion it
seems...

i tested the demo (Live 6.0.1)and it crashes indeed. Yes before exceptions are
thrown, and the crash there's:
0009:Call kernel32.GetEnvironmentVariableA(01291634 "APPDATA",00000000,00000000)
ret=00f601f1
0009:Ret kernel32.GetEnvironmentVariableA() retval=00000000 ret=00f601f1
So i tried to run like:
APPDATA="C:\Program Files\Ableton\Live 6.0.1\Resources" wine Live\ 6.0.1.exe
Surprise, it doesn't crash anymore, but starts up now. Btw, you have to run in
virtual desktop, as it starts with a dialog window behind a splash screen, that
you have to click, in normal mode it seems to hang because of this bug. If the
program works like it should, i don't know, but the menu's at least seem to work.
Maybe the crash is due to a missing registry entry of that environment variable,
but that' s just a guess.

Summary: Display seems to have "internal offset"
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.22.
Platform: PC

e_demo.exe
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: P2
Component: wine-directx-ddraw
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: kilgus(a)fuenfsieben.de
First, displaying the 2D card of "Magic Maps" (for a demo version see URL)
paints above buttons and menue of its window. Clicking at the hidden menue
entries gives a partial repaint of the buttons after the menue has vanished
again.
Additionally the mouse shows odd behaviour: If I click and draw a rectangle at
the 2D card to zoom in, the reaction is normal. But if I try to set or move a
point with the "path" tools, I have to click several dozen pixels away lower
and slightly to the right of the point I'm aiming at, like there was an
invisible internal offset.

Thanks for the info. I fixed the direct3d problem by only switching to directraw.
Run Diablo, Close Diablo :), switch back to direct3d
